So quick question...do manufacturers make different sized helmet shells per size, or do they use one shell and stuff more padding in for the smaller heads?
I ordered the Bell Arrow and the inside fits fine, but the helmet itself looks giant. It looks like I'm wearing an XXL but it's a small.

some manufactures have some really big full face and half helmets. I have a shoei rf-1000 in matt black. fits good looks *****. I do have a few that are nallons that collect dust in the shed
I wear an Icon Alliance with a blacked out pro shield, and love it. Its comfy, and the entire inside comes out to wash, has good breathers as well.. and it's a nasty flat black. looks dope!
i just picked up a bell revolver a week ago. had it out for one ride so far. comfy as hell. no wind noise at all. looks cool but is a little on the big side. i think maybe its just cuz i am so used to wearing smaller set ups.
I love my Shoei rf-1100. Its comfortable, light, stays cool in the summer, and very quiet. I don't understand why people don't wear helmets, they keep the bugs and rain from hitting your face and kills the wind noise.

If your looking in the <$200 range chances are the manufacturer uses maybe two shell sizes across the entire XS to XXL range. This is a cost saving measure.
Higher end ($400+) helmet models use ~5 shell sizes across the size range. This is done to reduce weight and bulk.
