I don't have a ton of experience with different helmets. I picked up a Bell Star Carbon in black. I also got the Bell Transitions visor. At $120, the visor is a little pricey but it eliminates the need for multiple visors. I know you said price isn't an issue, but if you're not wanting to spend $650 MSRP (the shop I bought mine at gave me 15% discount because of my military service so I got it for about $550) for a helmet, the transitions visor also fits the regular Bell Star, the Bell RS1 and the Bell Vortex helmets. The RS1 didn't fit my head well, but the Vortex and the Star did. The Star felt much more comfortable to me and has unbeatable ventilation from what I've read. They are all DOT and Snell 2010.

A buddy of mine who rides sport bikes has a Scorpion and he likes it. Not sure what model, but it has a built in flip down sun visor. I tried a few helmets with built in sun visors and found the bottom edge of the second visor to be a distraction. I think his helmet was about $200 or so.

I sometimes wear a Scorpion EXO 1100. I don't like the way a full face smashes my cheeks together, and the Scorpion EXO 1100 has air bladders in the cheek pads so they can be adjusted. It isn't the quietest full face, but it's a lot quieter than my Outlaw and a whole helluva lot quieter than my HCI. The anti fog shield is one of the best on the market, and it also has a lock so that you can ride with the shield "cracked" open. I would say the vents are just okay, but then I prefer a half helmet, so they might be pretty good for what they are, and the pop down sun shade is handy, but I always wear sunglasses anyways.

Overall I really like the Scorpion EXO 1100. It is the most comfortable full face helmets I have ever put on my head. YMMV. I know people that swear by Arai, and I know they make a great helmet, but I couldn't get my noodle out of that thing fast enough.

Justin, I commute 86 miles a day to work and back so a full face is a no brainer for me. I have 2,1 is an older Bell and I have a modular BILT with a pull down dark visor. Don't think twice about it, just try on several different brands to get the feel you want. I use the Bell a lot more than the new one.

I'm finding alot of the FF are designed for the forward design of the sport bike. I have found a few with the cruiser design for the vents to work better. The Qwest being one. 07 bobber how do you like the arrow? Wind noise, fit, finish, overall? Do you have a pic with it on?

***FYI I know this will open a can of worms. Until you've buried someone you love because of a negligent cager, please don't. Has me thinking of a little more safety on my end. I really don't want my wife and kids spending my life insurance just yet....
BTW- I HAVE buried someone I loved because of a cager- and it doesn't affect my riding or protection views- if people are scared to ride, they don't belong on a bike-

I sometimes ride in crappy conditions with two modular helmets that I appreciate-

You need to spend good money on a helmet. You won't regret it. Confi liners super lite, and vent well. Also they are quiet.

I have the AGV grid. It's awesome!
