Ya I'm looking at the Icon Airmada. Its their latest design. Fits narrow oval head shape. All the reviews I've read have been positive. And priced right with all the same features as all the more expensive brands. I like the Rubatone (flat black) but I'm drawn to that orange Medicine man. My 2011 Wg is the orange with the black flames.
I'm looking at getting a FF, but I want something with reallly good air ventilation due to the heat here in Texas. I have a HD modular which is great in the couple of months of cold weather we get here but otherwise its just too hot and heavy.
I've been thinking about the Shark evoline 3 st, seeing it can be worn as a 3/4 (which sounds great) but then if you hit rain or whatever else that you don't want on your face you can go to FF. Does anyone have any experience with these helmets?
My helmet that see's the most use is a Bell 500, also have a half helmet for real quick runs around town.

I am really happy with mine, it is quiet well vented.
I started this year with a FF helmet and went with a Shoei GT-air, well ventilated, lives up to its rating of one of the quietest helmets out there, visibility and ease of removal and operation of the face shield are top notch, the HD headset speakers will fit with some slight modifications to the ear pockets (had to make them deeper).
With all that being said it is an adjustment to go with FF full time, regardless of venting they do get hot on those 90* days sitting in traffic, the sound of the exhaust does reverb in the helmet regardless of the sound rating, but, with safety in mind FF is the way to go.
I'm a Shoei fan because they fit my head just right. Arai never seemed to fit well for me.
I personally use a Shoei GT Air that I got from Competition Accessories as they have the lowest prices on them if you don't care about design. It is EXTREMELY quite compared to my RF1100 and has the silicon beaded insert to prevent fogging of the face shield. Ventilation is wonderful, or with the chin skirt and vents closed keeps the chill off your face.
I swear by Shoei products as my RF1100 kept me alive when someone hit me from the side in 2012, texting and driving, with damage from the right chin up to the top of my temporal and back of my head.
Not to mention Sena 10S units fit great in this helmet lol If you need a place to buy headunits I know a guy that can hook ya up.
