So I have a 2011 Street Bob. Currently running the 96" motor with SE Heavy Breather, V&H Big Radius 2-2, HD Race Tuner and a stock suspension. I ride solo 90% of the time 175lb rider without gear, 2up 10% of the time aprox 300lb combined without gear.
I have no real complaints about the power as it stands now. But of course we always want more. I do not however feel that the suspension and handling is all it could be. Most of my riding is off highway and not the nicest paved roads with a lot of sweeping corners.
I got an incredible deal on a 103" stage 2 kit which I have already sold the AC from. I'm not made of money nor am I a wrench by anymeans. So if you were me what would you do?
You already have the parts, install them. After you have done the 103, you will want the suspension upgrade done sooner than later.
Mods are addicting!
I upgraded my suspension with Works shocks and drop in cartridges, added a True-Track and installed Matrix brakes. Incredible results. I would do these mods again without even thinking about it. Extra power can wait.
