black everything, little bikini or cafe fairings, t-bars or drag bars with huge tall risers, 2-into-1 pipes like Thunderheaders. Basically, like the bikes on SOA.
You gotta have a knife strapped to the frame... Cause you gotta be a felon... That can't get caught with a gun...
This forum is the only place I've heard it called outlaw/thug style, But maybe I don't get out much?? I've heard it called west coast or so-cal style. I honestly wish it wasn't dubbed that, but oh well..
Functional suspension, tall rigid bars for comfort and control, mid controls, fairing to hide said bars, 2-1 pipe for power and style, big motor and brakes, mostly blacked out so you can spend your time riding vs cleaning and posing. Here's my version. Still working on the brakes and motor.
Like all functioning styles, the outlaw or club'er bike has become fashion. I think back before it was a fad, these bikes were dark, had a slight chopped look and made to go fast. They were designed to be not seen cause they were used by people trying for a low profile in certain cases.

Over the years it became a style from people copying and modifying that look.
Enter fiction and the media. Now its fashion in part being driven by the likes of Kurt Cutter and the SOA gang.
There are groups around. Outlaw No-cal bikes on FB, etc. They are simply people's interpretation of the original low profile setup as is mine.

Looking damn good man.. What are you doing about another brake? Can one fat bob lower be used and rotor/caliper added? Or do you have to use the wide trees to? I need better braking, bad.. After putting my mid controls back on the other day I have been riding the bike, damn near its capacity.. I also need better/longer rear shocks. How do you like those works shocks and what length are they?
