Do I need new risers?
I have had the rubber bushings, poly bushings and now the bars are loose again. Out yesterday and yes I did pull hard on the bars (18" apes) and they pulled back. I change the angle of my bars now and then so I am thinking either the poly bushings have gone bad or the risers. Has anyone dealt with this? And what fixed the problem? One more thing the bolts are at the correct torque.......
Are your bars knurled? Mine aren't, and when I change the angle of my 10" Z bars I have to retorque them after the first ride and then they stay relatively still. I know tall bars seem to move more than others. I've never heard of the risers wearing out, only getting stripped.
I'm switching to tall risers and a superbar. Every time my bars move on a ride it sucks the confidence out of me and I'm always conscious of it the whole ride. It sucks.

Ink,No they are not knurled. I am wondering if after all these years the risers are stripped or the poly bushings are shot,or both. And yes it does suck when the confidence is gone so I guess I will replace everything including the bolts.Ty for the reply....
