Silver Powdercoat Touch-up Possible?

Silver Powdercoat Touch-up Possible?
I've just purchased a used, 06 basic Superglide. It is a very clean ride, but has a place on the outer primary which looks like a chemical dripped and left a spot the size of a pencil eraser. Anyone had any luck with a way to successfully touch-up the silver powdercoat?

you cant do a touch up spot with powder coat yoou will have to use paint or somthing else.or you will have to have the hole cover powdercoated over...i have my own powder coating shop and tryed all kinds of touch up and nothing work right..

Thanks for the response. I am glad I asked before I did something to make it worse. How hard would it be for a powder coating shop to match the factory silver if I had the entire outer primary redone?

There may be aftermarket alternatives if cost is an issue. I could be wrong..but doesn't Kuryakyn make a chrome outer primary...or is that just the inner cover? Not sure..maybe someone else knows...or you can check their website.... www.kuryakyn.com

Get a chrome primary as has been suggested earlier. I got mine off Ebay for 100 bucks - and it is in mint condition. You don't have to pay HD's price of 330 bucks for a chrome primary.

I tried the silver paint from Harley as touch up, Didn't work. Simple green used a couple of times fadded out the discoloration. Or like a riding buddy said, "its just another war story".
