here is a link with pictures. It was an easy swap and the seat fits just as good as before with a longer tank.Not 100 percent sure about the 05 but I could only imagine it being at least the same or easier.

all you need is the console and tach not the whole tank but you will also have to purchase the handle bar clamp to house the warnig lights or you could use led's and mount them in the console and wire your indicators to them.
contimplated doing the same but i think for now im just going to chrome my console and and add tach to bar clamp cheaper that way and you dont have to do any custom mods
this will work on a 06 bob not sure about yours see if you can find a lowrider same model and check it out to see if it will work for you i seen alot of consoles on ebay for 05 and later though
nice modding guys but alot of us dont have welders and or the talent to do what you did. congrats on your tanks they look great.
