FXD Tank Swap
I own a 09' FXD Super Glide and wish to swap the tank out because I am not happy with the speedo location. I have found a FXDWG tank and an 06' FXD Super Glide 35th anniversary tank but i dont want to purchase it until i know it can be done. Does anyone know if these tanks will fit on my style bike and if so what all is entailed to do the modification. I have done some reading on the Forum for others who have done tank swaps and it seems that all i need to do is rerun the wires for the speedo and ignition but was hoping for a little more indepth explanation. For example, will is the fuel pump interchangeable? What console should i purchase? Is there additional wiring needed? Thanks
