I had my bars off the other day....was going to change them out but it didn't happen (I would of needed new cables/controls/etc)
Anyways, I might of pulled on my turn signal cables a little too much & now neither side turn on. These are aftermarket bullet-style signals.
I can only follow them as far as into the existing wiring in the neck of the frame..... then I checked @ my turn signal module. No wires loose / missing / fuses OK etc.
Back turn signals work fine.....
How can I trace the problem? I can't see any splices anywhere. Grrrrr
I noticed my back blinkers don't blink any faster. Should I just pull the turn signal wires & see if they come out?
On a better side note: picked up a pair of touring air shocks last night $40...nearly brand new..... & just ebayed a new set of spark plug wires for $15
Prolly wired into the connectors in the harness. It's not a lot of fun fooling with the harness in the neck, but it is doable. Getting the harness back into the neck is 'difficult' to say the least. I did some work on mine a few months ago and the only nervous time, was that first time I turned the key to ACC.
