Thanks guys!! I am very greatfull that my son was not on the bike with me at the time. I'll heal up and get back in the saddle again. Yes there is another Fat Bob out there waitng for a new owner once everthing is straightened out.

Yes could have been worse. As for the cager as far as I know he's fine. Insurance tells me it will be to much effort to prove if he used his turn signal or not that my Insurance will probally have to pay for everything.

Glad that you survived fairly well and are ok, very glad your son wasn't involved in the wreck and that your bike can be fixed. It's easier than fixing a person sometimes, just depending but too bad they can't get the cager to admit no signal or something instead of making you pay it all! Where's a witness when ya need one huh? Get well soon and best wishes for a speedy recovery!

My insurance guy is gonna total my bike out. But I've been wondering about getting a lawyer. What kind of experience has anyone had with a situtation simular to this? Just trying to get a feel for what to do. I usually don't lawyer up but I've had plenty of advice by friends that I should. What do you guys think?
