Default Adding floorboards to FXDC

Im adding floorboards to my dads 2011 FXDC. I have the Wyatt kit but the brackets mounts are too high and there arent many options for floorboards. So I ordered the FXDL brackets and brake lever since the lever than came with the kit wont fit with the new brackets. And Im probably ordering 14 inch Banana boards from Cyclesmiths because they will match with his Carlini flying apes and the 2 tone high roller risers http://www.carlinidesign.com/harley-...sers/index.php

Unless someone has a different or better suggestion on floorboard options

The Wyatt kit is an exact copy of the Police floorboards for the Dyna. Cornering clearance was more important than comfort. About $400

The FLD Switchback has all the parts you need to put floorboards on a Super Glide. Several threads on this and I am sure a few of the good folks here will soon chime in with all the part numbers you need. About $600-700.

If you have some skills, you can adapt FL Softail (2000 and newer are best) boards and brackets to a Dyna. The brake system will be moved up front, so you will need a FLSTC brake line also. I did this because it was cheaper, about $150-200, and I needed the brake system moved up front due to my exhaust crossunder potentially causing problems with the brake light switch.

Im using pretty much everything from the Wyatt kit except the floorboards, brackets and brake lever. The lever will not work since Im using the the newer brackets which are lower. The Wyatt kit ran me $300 and the FLD brackets and brake lever ran me another $250. If anyone is interested in buying the brackets, floorboards, and brake lever shoot me a PM

I don't understand why people dont just use these

$47

Or these

$120

Both styles are so much cheaper! I used the first set on my old GL1000 for years and loved em!
