Ok I sourced a sending unit but no change...
I have a mechanical gauge and it says all is well..
I had the bigsky Harley tech tell me that it sounds good and pressure is good..
Any other. Suggestions on the light guys?
I will drive back home (500 miles ) and hope for the best..

If you lose pressure while 'plugged,' your lifters will start collapsing and making more racket than you can deal with LONG before you experience engine damage. Ride it out of there.
