I have a '91 dyna wide glide.
In the past I had installed edlebrock heads and higher lift cam and am currently running "hotshot" straight pipes. The bike has a really obnoxious "crackle". I want to make it quieter without losing all the performance. My pipes have a "baffle" but they do nothing. Do I have to go back to factory mufflers or is there something in-between?
Help!
I aint real sure...but from what I was just reading in another thread.....perhaps you can install a set of those "Q" TTI's.....apparently they add low end torque while also lowering decibals..
Get a 2into1 - better performance, less noise, more ground clearance.
+1
Probably your best bet to make the bike run and sound better. If budget is an issue you can set a pair of Cycle Shack slipons for about $150. Great sound and will give you better low and mid-range performance.
