As requested here is my dyno sheet. I thought the guy told me 115, but it actually 111.68 and torque 109.72. Either way I'm happy. I'm itching to ride it, but I still have to wait on the stator, sucks...

I talked to a buddy of mine and he said Dynojet doesn't use a loaded dyno, you want to find a dyno that IS a loaded dyno to provide resistance to show REAL HP numbers, a non-loaded dyno doesn't provide real world resistance like asphault would, thus resulting in higher HP numbers.

I think this dyno is loaded. Reason I say this the guy tuning it said he can provide braking, which he went into explaining why, but at the time all I could think about was why my bike wasn't finished...lol

The dynojet dynos are typically the "happy" dynos you hear tuners talk about. Some do have a brake and some don't. It is my understanding the ones with the brakes can and are often manipulated to show higher numbers. Got to Harley Tech Talk and the dyno section will scare you sometimes. 103s and 107s making crazy numbers from mostly the big aftermarket companies trying to sell you stuff. For instance one of those big companies was pounding there chest on a 107 build that made 130 hp with dyno sheet to prove it. But that same bike was at the shootout I was at and only made 114 hp so go figure. Trust me there was one excuse after another the heat and humidity which will factor some but not that amount. Heck if I used there formula I'd make 122 hp and almost 130 tq out of my 103. Now you see what I mean dyno numbers really don't mean much the power curves will tell you more about a tune than final numbers. My tuner uses a Eddy Current dyno which shows real time HP/TQ with its brake that is applied throughout the tuning process. For example on my tuners dyno the 120Rs make anywhere from 117 hp to 122 hp depending on pipe so do you think a 107 from a the aftermarket can make 130 hp well I really don't think so. Some tuners will change the direction of a fan so it points straight at the intake to make 5 hp some will tune with no A/C just to show a higher numbers how many of you ride around without a a/c on not me. So look at you graph lines for both TQ and HP and look for dips which sometimes is the pipe other times its how it was tuned was it tuned at say 2k 2.5, 3k, 3.5, and so on your tq should climb solidly without a peak and then a dip and then peak again. that is the tune not the cam like some will tell you. It may peak and drop a little and climb again very gradually but not peak higher again it should level off and you will see where your HP curve takes over and the same applies dips in low rpms can be a pipe Thunderheaders are famous for this but not peak dip peak dip and peak. Hope this helps you out some about your curves and all the BS that goes along with tunes.
