Well I'm semi done with the build. Engine is complete. Only thing left is adding the fuel tank.
So I have some options with the tune. Someone help me out here. I've spoken with several different tuners and some have told me that I didn't need to break the motor in. There advise, put it on the dyno and do the tune? I'm not sure I want to go that route, I was just wondering if anyone had done this?

You can dyno break in a motor, some companies do this (like Fuel Moto). I have personally never gone this route. I normally have the builder/tuner load a base map to drive around with on the streets at lower rpm's for 1000 miles. Bring it back after 1000 to ensure the rings are seated properly and dyno tune it. Other just floor it WOT right after the build and tune away on it. Many routes just go with the one you feel most comfortable with.
I did the stage 3 on my bike. Dealer did download and had me come back after 1000 miles. I felt way better about it and it gives you a minute to get the other 300 bucks. Well my dealer charged me 240.
Yep got her running. Turned out the pushrods were not adjusted correctly. Haven't had it tuned yet because I had to go out of town. When I get back my local HD shop is going to put a break in tune for me. I think I feel more comfortable doing going that route instead of just throwing it on the dyno with zero miles...
Here's the finish, finish product.
We started it just for a few seconds just so see how she'd sound and I have to admit. I can't wait to get see what she'll do!
My stage 3 makes me smile like crazy. im sure you will be really happy. Not sure how it will be with the short shots. Had those on my sb i used to have. Didnt care for them personally. once i went with my fat cat was totally different ride.
