Here are a few dyno sheets for my Wide Glide. The first is from last year after installing the A/C and Vance and Hines Slip ons with the SERT. The 2nd is after adding the SE 255 Cams and V&H Big Shots, had a LOT of ping after this one. The 3rd is after a different shop re-tuned and the 4th is the overlay of the 1st tune with the 255 cams and the re-tune. They all claim SAE corrected, however this would mean that after the A/C, Slip ons and SERT tune, I was only making 78tq and 62hp?? this would also mean that after simply adding the cams and swapping slip ons for BSS, I picked up 27hp and 30tq? Also, can someone explain the A/F on the overlay number 3? Does this explain my ping issues? How does the final tune look? Thanks!
Dunno why the first run was so low. Seems less than stock. Would have thought it should have been in the low 70s. Poor calibration of the dyno? Not the right map used with the SERT? Using V&H slipons, which aint great?
The pulls after the cams upgrade obviously look better and the numbers are about right.
The AFRs look good on the later pulls, numbers between 12 and just under 14, nothing going hairy there.
For the pinging, I'd consider timing. Did the tunes only touch fuel or was anything done about the timing, especially after the cams? Also, what octane fuel do you use?
