Bars, cables and risers
Okay guys im looking this winter to put apes and risers on my 2012 wide glide. what i want to know is whats the best place to shop/ get info on how i could mesure for them. Im 6'' tall and im looking to be at about shoulder height or a little above for the grips. I move back home to Virginia next month and they do not have a handlebar height law so i am not worried about that. Right now im looking at RSD apes does anyone have a picture of those on their bike so i can see how they look? im new to putting parts on my bike so i dont know how i would mesure for my cables and wires either. and help would be appreciated. thanks

do you have a service manual? if not, will be a great help to ya to get one. you'll need to decide on how high over stock you want to go...then add that to your stock stuff...or check out burly. they have complete kits. you can probably use the search function and find all kinds of info on apes. its not really that hard of a job. good luck and take pics to show when your done.
