front end vibration 09 SG custom
Recently traded my Sportster for a used 09 Super Glide custom. Certainly like to additional power and better ride. I need to tap into the collective experience of the group. Over the last week or so I have been noticing a definate vibration in the front end. Happens mostly at lower speeds and when applying front brake. Not sure if I might have warped rotor, bad pads or even loose head bearings. Hunting for suggestions as to where to look first?

It could be the rotor, a loose or worn motor mount, or a few other things. Check them all. When I got my Dyna used the rotors were both extremely warped and the motor mount was shot. I replaced the motor mount first which took care of the shaking while riding. The rotors were only noticeable when I pulled the front brake lever.
Front End Vibration
I ride a 2009 FXDC and did experience the Front End vibration or more correctly wobble. The solution although I tried several things......WAS.... adjust the Front End Fall Away my front end was way too loose.....Even though I did add the Sputhe Stabilizer front and rear after the Front End Fall Away adjustment....the real solution was the later.

Thanks for all of the feedback. After more careful riding I think I can narrow the problem down to either: warped front brake rotor, head bearing adjustment or possibly front motor mount.
I'll check each more carefully this weekend.
