Default I'm now a two time Dyna owner

Just picked up a '12 WG today to replace the '11 that was stolen.

Like having the 103, even if any "gains" I feel are really just in my head. Its been a month since I rode my '11 so it would be hard to tell with out riding them closer together to tell if the 103 has any more *****. I do like the electronic controls on the '12 better, they just feel smoother, and I like being able to cycle through my trip computer/odometer etc with the new button location on the handlebar. Like the added features on the speedo, like the tach and the black face, but do kind of miss the little green light that showed I was in 6th though that is minor. Heck the only reason it may be throwing me off is because the stock pipes are so quiet.

Did have to order a saddle skirt/heat shield as I blistered up while riding today. That happened with my '11 too, guess I'm just an odd fit on the Wide Glide.

Congrats on your new bike!

Start modding it by ripping those reflectors off

That bike looks good. I personally really like the mini sissy bar they come with. Ya, those new pipes are too quiet. I was able to get some Rush slip-ons thrown in on mine. But I plan on getting something bigger next spring. Good luck, and enjoy the new bike!!

I never got around to pulling off the reflectors on my '11. I pulled them off my old Sportie though.

Besides the saddle skirt, I've already ordered mini floorboards and extended brake pedal, identical to the ones in my '11 in my sig pic.

I had Rush slip ons on my '11 with 2" baffles. I liked their sound, but I'm going for a full system this time, once I finally make up my mind. I'm currently leaning towards the V&H Big Radius 2-2 in black, I know they are probably the most popular pipes and it seems like everybody has them but I think they look great. The only hesitation I have is that I think I'll drag them all the time. I also need to make up my mind on a new air cleaner set up. I've thought about getting the Arlen Ness Big Sucker Derby Cover set up, then getting a custom derby cover engraved or etched with possibly the little Social D Skelly in my avatar.

I've also been going through the Plasti-Dip thread. Considering using it on my fork lowers, as I've seen some good results in that thread.
