Do you drag your pipe on right handers at all?
Love my Propipes sound & performance but can't stand the constant scraping. I put my stockers back on, same problem although not quite as bad. Plus it sounds like sh...stock and doesn't pull nearly as hard.
Not a huge fan of the ST exhaust sound but I don't dislike either. Just need my pipe not to scrape.
I never scrape, and I ride hard. Of course I also have 13" Ricor's on the rear. I'm running an open end-cap with 8 disks and they sound pretty good.
I Have an '11 FXDC with stock shocks.
The FXDF sits higher than the FXD or FXDWG so most people don't have scraping issues even with their stock shock set ups.
8 Disk...must be fairly quiet?

Not quiet at all! At idle it sounds tame , but if I take off it's loud as hell! People have a hard time following me! and not because my harley is sooooo fast LOL!!!
Oh and my exhaust never scrapes - just the footpegs!

How many disk you running? I figured with the 8 that Ratrob is running, it would be pretty quiet.

Same as Ratbob 8 discs. Once you have the open end cap there is hardly any exhaust flowing out the discs - path of least resistance and all that. Trust me it gets real loud!

Ahhh....missed the open end cap part. I'd prolly go with the closed one myself.
Much lighter unit than the Propipe. Heat shields are not as nice as the V&H. Metal has dips/waves in it and the chrome isn't as good.
I put all 20 disk in w/closed end cap. Sounds good. Better than I expected. As I've heard some ST's that I really haven't cared for. But I do like the sound as is.
Do not seem to have an issue with scraping on right handers so far. My main concern.
I have some crap weather here today so my test ride was just around the neighborhood but initial impression on performance is it's a little weaker up to the mid ranges than the PP.
Once it clears up, I'll get a better idea.
