Default 49mm forks vs 39mm forks

Not knowing too much about differences in bikes is there much difference in the new fork size as compared to the older size ? What's the pro's and con's of the 39mm vs the 49mm and which is better ,does it depend on ridding preference ?

The 49 has less flex than the 39 like in the snaller bikes. Heavier tubes means more regidity.

The Wide Glides also get more rake on the front and 1 1/4" handle bars with the wiring inside. Almost wish I had waited for the '06s to come out------Na I like my '05 just fine.Donnie

Why not just make a fork brace a stock part then ?
