12.5" Threaded preload adjustment, deflective disc valved main piston and a deflective disc valved compression piston (piggy back). About 20 clicks of adjustment

Keep putting a bug in their ear, you guys wont have any regrets running with 970's.

Any idea how much longer these are than stock on the current generation Wide Glide ? did it increase your wheel gap ? Where did you buy them ? 1000 bux from the site ouch.
The 970's are 12.5 inch.

The FXD, FXDC and FXDWG had 12.6 inch shocks from 06 to 09
The rest of the 06-09 Dynas had 12 inch shocks.
All the Dynas went to 12 inch shocks in 2010

I weigh 190 give or take a few beers. I keep my sag set for 2up (340 lbs). When riding solo I just turn down the compression dampening about 5 clicks, you can adjust it while riding down the road
