Cool Brake light help please

My rear brake does not signal the brake light. All wires seem connected, and not frayed. I cleaned both clips on the Rear tail light switch, and it all seems to be connected correctly. Is there a way to test to see if the rear tail light switch is the problem without removing it, or what do you think would be my next step to figuring out why my foot can't control my brake light? *Note* my front bake DOES signal the tail light correctly.

Have you checked for continuity across the brake light pressure switch when you press on the brake pedal?

No, I don't think so. How do I do that?

I found this video. I bet this is the problem. It also showed me how to test the continuity.

This guy is awesome by the way.

What year is the bike?

More than likely the switch, it is an easy fix, I had to replace mine not to long ago on my 07 SB.
