I found a duece I want to buy. The bike runs and rides fine. It has 42K miles and is a black anniversary bike (think all 03's were anniv right?) New tires, battery, plugs. Needs a fluid change. Drive belt looks good. Second owner, has all the keys, I would say it is in fair condtion. The only bad part is that the back end of the bike has lots of wear marks from bags. The belt guard, the swing arm upper bars. Its not horrible but its no show bike, I think I could probably go through it and replace all the marred pieces for a few hundred. Other than the cosmetics its a pretty decent bike. Got a pipe on it and it sounds awesome. Asking 7900 but I wanted some feedback on pricing. Most of the dyna's I see in this price range are older, have more miles. I dont have any pics sorry. Thanks for you .02

Ok, Heres my opinion. I wouldnt buy it. Too many miles, and 7900 seems high. Man there is a ton of bike out there be patient.
My other comment is you just might want to post in the Softail section.

Id pass esp. If you have cash to buy. Watch CL and eBay and be ready to move. I picked up my 2001 low rider with 11000 miles for 5300 from ebay. As far as that bike. If it were mint with lower miles id offer 7000. There are so many mint bikes with low miles its truly a buyers market. Good luck

 

yeah...I mean I paid 5800 for my 2001 FXDX with 26k miles on it. The Deuce your looking at is a couple years newer, but thats quite a few miles on the clock for that price...

If you go check out the bikes for sale section, you'll be able to get a pretty good idea what bikes are going for... to give u an idea, i paid 10k for my 08 dyna and it only had 7000 miles on it... that an also, ik ur in san diego but still, its gettin close to winter time, bike prices will start to drop like crazy, well atleast they do around here
