They look better from the other side haha. I was holding off on any pics, I got the "black out" bug lately. Switchback battery cover came in, your rocker covers, clutch/brake levers and T-header on the way. Figured I'd snap a pic when everything gets put on.
Thanks to everyone for the input. Again, just a weird coincidence. I'd ridden the bike that day with no issues, put new levers on then the damn shifter peg is dangling. You'd think the two were related...oh well. Easy fix, back to riding!
Ok so which is it? To me, it looks like the shifter arm wasnt installed all the way on the shifter shaft, the trans arm looked solid in the video...now that i watched it again im betting the shifter shaft (goes thru primary) broke.....

I'm 99% certain its just the teeth worn out on the shifter. When I reinstalled the shifter lever, the retaining bolt broke off in there, it was solid but I think wiggled it's way loose again. I got lucky, it came loose when driving away from a stop light. I was in 1st and the shifter just sagged all the way down so I'm stuck in 1st. Thank god I wasn't going 90 on the freeway and got stuck in 6th....
I've been riding the last week with no issues, so it can't be anything inside the primary. Pretty sure it's just that shitty HD teeth design. I was checking out those Better Levers, but $200 is insane. I'll throw a new shifter lever on there with a lot of loctite and call it a day.
Bike looks like **** with those tow straps torqued all the way down, not digging the "slammed" look on my bike haha. But there's my Switchback battery cover and Joe's rocker covers...

How would I know if its the teeth on the shifter or teeth on the rod it attaches to...think I'd be ok with a bunch of loctite or would that just bury the problem for now?
