Lifter oil hole orientation

Lifter oil hole orientation
So im installing a billet cam plate and SE oil pump on an 07 SB. I dont remember the lifter orientation for the oil holes. The manual states "inboard" but does not say if it is inboard to the engine or to the lifter bores themselves. So, does anyone know for certain if the oil holes should be facing one another or should the lifter oil holes all face the cylinders?

I just got doing cams, plate & pump, new lifters on my '03. I installed them the same way they came out. With the holes facing out towards me (out board). Now you have me thinking that I was wrong? I should have read the install instructions closer.
