They are parts from the '12 Dyna Switchback (FLD). I did this mod as soon as the '12 Dyna parts manual was available at my dealer, and ordered the parts sepeartly some time ago.

There is a kit offered from the MoCo now http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444877997 3&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302491567&ASSORTMEN T%3C%3East_id=2534374302491567&locale=en_US&locale =en_US&bmUID=1345991409276&bmLocale=en_US. It's listed in the '13 custom parts. It is less exspensive tha buying the parts individually unless you plan on using some of the parts from your HD forward control kit.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes....Tim(HT)

Just priced up the parts individually without the controls and I was getting close to 400 before I was done. Looks like the kit is best option either way. Now I gotta make up my mind if I want to get these before I get my wheels powdercoated so I can do them all at once.

Yep, all except for the reduced reach brake rod to use adapt for my smurf length 29" inseam legs. Heck I even retained the brake mount. Some day I will grind down the foot peg mount and repaint it. I set the shoulder bolts so that the boards will be loose so on tight sweepers the boards will rise up when they hit the ground. (Ex-Roadracer).
The kit if it is available for only $319 would be the way to go. It wasn't available when I did mine last year and with the exception of the shifter rod and lever it is the same as I have all but the reduced reach brake lever.

Here's a "clip" from a previous post that might be helpful.

At the time I did mine, my parts guy had just recieved "shop copies" of the parts book for the FLD, the parts were purchased separately. I doubt that has changed. The list I offered previously, is compiled straight out of the FLD parts manual and my reciepts. My parts guy helped me research The info I provide with my notes. And I've got a few afterthoughts about it.

For the footboards:
54165-12 SUPPORT, right footboard $ 52.72
54172-12 SUPPORT ASSY, right footboard $ 68.75
54173-12 SUPPORT, left footboard $ 52.72
54174-12 SUPPORT ASSY, left footboard $ 68.75
50621-06 FOOTBOARD ASSY w/pads $ UNK (See note #3)
50614-06 PAD, footrest $ UNK (See note #3)
7354 LOCKNUT (4) $ UNK
50674-05 BOLT, shoulder $ UNK
4512A SCREW $ UNK

For the Brake:

38157-12 BRAKELEVER ASSY $ 111.00
42416-06 PAD, brake pedal $ 4.25
4997 SCREW $ 4.00
38160-12 CAP, brakelever $ 10.95
38161-12 PUSH ROD $ 72.56
42665-03 PIVOT SHAFT $ UNK. (See note #1)

For the shifter:
33789-12 SHIFT LEVER $ UNK. (See note #2)
34887-06 SHIFT ROD $ UNK. (See note #2)
6702 WASHER $ UNK (See note #2)
7736 ACORN NUT $ UNK. (See note #2)

If you have mid-controls:
2882W BOLT $ UNK (See note #4)
7710W NUT $ UNK (See note #4)
34639-93 RETAINER $ UNK (See note #4) For ’96-’00 models
34639-01 RETAINER $ UNK (See note #4) For ’01 and later
34640-93 COVER, Shift shaft $ UNK (See note #4)
3231B SETSCREW $ UNK (See note #4

NOTES:
#1; If HD Fwd controls are already on the bike, the existing part is the same P.N

.If NOT HD Fwd controls, OR is HD mid controls, this part may be needed.

#2; These parts are needed if the bike has mid controls. If HD Fwd controls are already on the bike, these parts are not needed.

#3; These are Stock FLD (Chrome) footboards and come with the PAD, I Opted for P.N. 51322-08 FOOTBOARDS (Black) from the ’12 HD custom book (I’m not real big on chrome) and my parts guy gave me a set of stock “take off” standard PAD, footrest.`

#4; These are parts listed as an option to removing the outer and inner primary cases to remove the existing shift lever shaft and, cap the holes.
