main difference between Street Bob and Super Glide
Im ready to upgrade from my sportster to a dyna. I am looking at cycletrader and other sites for a dyna used. My biggest question is, what the main difference between the street bob and the super glide?. also, at what year did the dyna stopped using carburetor and moved to EFI?
thank you,
The newer Super Glide has alot more chrome that the Street Bob and is set-up from factory for two up riding, meaning rear pegs already installed and two-up seat.
Main difference is the price - IMO, the Street Bob is the best bang for the buck in the entire HD line up.
as far as used bikes, i would have to say the FXD which is a super glide standard, is the best bang... Mag wheels, which means no dicking around with spokes, not much chrome to polish since its the got the silver motor as opposed to the black on black (Bob) or black n chrome (super glide custom)...
FXDs if you can find them are generally cheaper than both a custom or bob...
to answer the question about the EFI... if its 06 and older, there will be a lower case I after the model designation like FXDi, or FXDBi or FXDLi ... you get the idea
