I just bought that item, as well as a rebuild for my Keihin CV. I think the only problem I had was with the gasket for the float bowl was the wrong one. The EZ screw is better than the stock setup.


Not sure I agree with HogPro on ditching the CV and getting a Mikuni. Have heard (i.e. talked a few individuals regarding getting a new carb or why to keep the CV) good things about the CV - and that it is good for 80+ HP.

Not much of an update, installed an updated headlight and got some black levers to go on my bar install hopefully within the next week or two.

good call on the headlight, throw an H4 bulb in there for better lighting...

What are u gonna do with the Tach/Speedo? I dont see any bungs on those bars.

Nice find! Deff think you should keep the red. Looks good! I just bought a silver 2005 FXDX this summer after a little old lady was kind enough to pull infront of me while I was riding my FXDB. Really like the FXDX a lot better than the DB.
