Default Rear fender

Has anyone tried a Switchback rear fender on a street bob? Is it the same width? If so any pics?

have installed the FLD Switchback rear fender on a Low Rider and Super Glide Custom, respectively ...

I believe the fender strut width of their bikes should be same as your Street Bob ... As I recall, there is a need for about 1/8" spacer between the strut and fender ... but, is pretty much a bolt on operation ...

complete tail light/turn signal assembly from street glide $82 ebay

Parts catalog showed some interesting looking hardware for mounting the fender on the FLD, I used my hardware and spacers from my Low rider, and I think some 1/8" spacers from the hardware store since the FLD fender is narrower.
Good luck and if you PM either of those fellas, I am sure they'll answer any specific questions you may have ...

The only thing I did different form 02fx4dude was I bought the fender mounting brackets because they also help support the tail light/turn signal assembly part #57300001 left & 57300002 right $18.80 ea from surdyke HD

The spacer is 3/16" and I'm sure 1/8" washers will work like 02fx4dude did. You must use also use the front spacer that is on your fender now.
I got the spacers from a friend the put the detachable back rest on his FLD.
I think with the inner support barakets you might be able to mount the fender without the 1/8_3/16 spacers.

You didn't say what year street bob you have. If you have a 07-08 regular fender & tail light you only need #73381-12 BASE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY. The CIRCUIT BOARD Part # 68830-99A is the same
I have a Pirelli Night Dragon 180/60 -17 on it now and it just barely clears.
