I bought 3 different seats so far. 1 sundowner 2 badlander 3 mustang squareback. I sold both 1 and 2 in about 2 weeks after I got them. 7000 on the squareback and love it.
I ache tried bikes with Mustangs on them and I found them to be super soft and squishy which was not right for me. The 2 up C&C's for the Dyna are a bit different than the solo that I run on my softail which has a little more padding but I can run this Dyna C&C all day without an issue. Seats are made custom to order, pricing is great compared to many vendors and the product is high quality. I will put their seats on all bikes I ever get as long as they make one for that application.
Seats are such a personal thing that it's pretty hard to figure out what will work based on others opinions. The same seat on two bikes can fit someone completely different. You have to take into account your bars (height, pullback, etc.), and also whether you have forward or mid controls. Some guys like plush, soft seats, leather or vinyl, while others like firm feeling seats. Add on top of that the overall look and you've got quite a few variables to consider.
For what it's worth, I have a C&C sport tour for 2-up riding and it is all-day comfortable. I does sit me higher and further back and is quite wide at the front (which rubs my inner thighs when I put my legs down). My preferred seat is the Lepera Silhouette. That baby sits you nice and low and is narrow at the front. I really feel like I'm sitting IN my bike rather that on TOP of it. I will ride that seat almost any distance IF I'm riding solo. All that being said, I may look into the Sicksaddles seats just because of all the great reviews I've read.
Good Luck. I hope you find what you're looking for.
I have a dyna that I ride everywhere. Ive had a bunch of seats for it, including a badlander. I have decided that the best seat that balances out looks, comfort, and ability for a passenger to ride the distance is the Lepera Daytona. I now just leave it on, my gf can do 500 mile days without bitching, and I have taken it on 4000+ mile trips. I still have a Lepera silhouette, Lepera bare bones, and a couple Harley brands for it.
I found the Corbin's to be hard as a rock, and the saddlemans look like **** to me. Something about the Lepera foam I like.
Also want to add, I'm about the same size as you, and agree on the width of the badlander. All the leperas are much narrower which put my legs in a more comfortable position.
