Default Heat shield hose clamp question

The hose clamps that hold the heat shields on my '07 FXDWG are rusty and driving me crazy (I'm kinda OCD about keeping my bike clean). I want to order out all stainless clams to replace them. What all do I have to take off to get the heat shilds off? Also, does anybody know what size the clamps are? I want to order them before I take stuff apart because I'm really good at losing small parts.

Thanks,
Matt

Me thinks the're 2 inch, but to be extra sure take one off and measure it, just place a white bed sheet under the area your working on, so any parts fall on that, easy to see and small stuff won't bounce.

Just the hose clamps. You have to loosen them all the way until they come apart, spread them a bit, remove heat shield with them still attached to the shield. Once you have removed the shield you can remove the clamps from the shield. Please note the direction you pull them off, it makes it easier to tighten them back up when they are facing the right way.

Thanks Guys. I got them off, they are 2.25" fully extended. I ordered 6 marine grade fully stainless for about a buck a piece. I also took off the slip on mufflers, polished them and wire wheeled and painted the T-bolts and nuts with header paint, looks alot better.

Good price for the new clamps, hope they are better than regular SS.
