I noticed that the owners manual for my 04 superglide lists the wattages for all the light bulbs, including the speedo and fuel guage backlights. So they are replaceable? Id like to change that bland off-white color to something more pleasing to the eye. Riding at night reminds me of the dash on my dads 69 ford.....BORING! I find it hard to believe that a burned-out speedo backlight would require replaceing the entire speedometer! Tell me thats not true guys!!
I posted this in the "lighting" section a couple weeks ago. When I checked back, ALL the posts dissapeared.
The posts did not disappear, they are listed by default to items in the last day change the date range to items in the last month....that said you had 1 response, send it in to have the leds replaced
Thanks for the fast reply, and the correction! Still trying to figure out how to make the most of this site. I just spotted a beautiful bike under "dyna pics" and it had what looked like a stock speedometer with a skull face in it. I can even figure out how to IM the guy to ask how he did it.
