brake rod

I have a 2006 dyna wide glide. The problem is I am only 5`6" and when my husband bought me my bike he did not realize it had extended foreward controls on it so I need to get the stock brake rod and cannot find one. My local hd shop says they are back ordered. Do you know where I could get one from.

Check Ebay or CL. Just like the previous owner of your bike, someone else has changed from the stock setup to the extended controls and the pieces they replaced are probabley gathering dust.

Yep, I sold one then some time later went back to stock and had to find one lol. One from any 2006-2011 Fat Bob or Wide Glide with forward controls will work so when your looking remember that and should give you more results.

This guy didn't post year

but its got the right bends in it to look same as my stock brake rod. Might try contacting him to confirm year but it looks correct

I am 5'6" with a 29" inseam and went to floor boards which was a huge improvement for me.
