Strange Rough Vibratrion in Handle Bars
Ok so i just bought my superglide Custom 2 months ago, love the bike but i noticed something that to me doesnt feel right. On a straight line alls well. But i noticed a low speed turns or sharp cornerning what feelslike a rough vibration, hard to expalin. Anyone else ever felt this in the front end? Bikes 2 months old i've owned many bikes never felt this before.

I just reached 1000 miles on my 12 FXDC, it has smoothed out since it was new. My Friend bought a 12 FXDC also and his rides differently than mine, mine shifts better, doesn't vibrate as much and is a lot faster. FYI his has 900 miles and he disputes the statement that mine is faster.

I just turned 2523 on mine, next service is 5,000 should hit that in a about a month. I'm going back to HD and going to test ride another FXDC like mine see if i notice the same vibration. All stock minus the American Custom Exhaust and 90 octane non-eth so far the slip ons and non-eth have definetly perked up my performance all around.

Here are the typical solutions to what your feeling:
Your spokes are loose, need to be checked after the first 1k miles and 5k after that.
Steer bearing is loose, should be checked after the first 1K and 5K after that.
check your front motor mount.
My guess is yoour stear bearing. If you have a service manuel, look up "fall away" test.

Sounds good i've always worked on my bikes but decided with this one and i can now afford it to get the extended warrenty it's going back to HD Monday damn it's only 2 months old and HD had done 2 services already..Thay said I still love the bike...

I can afford the service also, but after a few of the things I've seen, my bike will never go back to the dealer.

Good point I do have a friend who workes on Police Harleys think i need to call him i trust him he's been doing it sense Highschool maybe 20+ yrs experince is worth something.
