Default VO2 breather tubes

So I was reading through the install instructions and checking out the diagram today so I'll be ready when the rest of my parts come in. The breather tubes on these feed through the backing plate and open up into the venturi and back into the throttle body. My question is... will the blowback actually go back in or will it run down the mount and onto the engine. I guess this is more aimed at anyone that has one and experienced it. Anyone else with thought they are most certainly welcome. I may end up with one of those cool under $50 mods but if I don't need to then...

Thanks ahead of time!

I installed the V02 last week and have ridden over 100 miles with it and have not had any oil blowback on the outside of the bike. I have another bike where I isntalled breather bolts and that creates a mist of oil on the pipes which I have to wipe down after every ride. I've read the arguments for not having the oil filter back into the air intake, but I notice no performance difference and would stick with the breather tubes if you don't want any oil on your pipes and/or engine. Your other option is those oil breather collector devices.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about the collector device approach, but why do that if there is no need and no improvement? I was more worried about it on the outside of the bike so you made me feel a little better about that. Are you running the stock cover on it or running it "naked"? Thanks again!

Got 9k on my FLHR with the V/H vo2 and not a drop of oil has been seen. My opinion is that it is actually a small amount of oil that is directed back into the carb/efi throat. If that small amount was just directed back into the filter housing, it would eventually accumulate enough to cause a drip/spray out of the housing..

Kinda depends a bit on the mileage of the engine and how you like to keep the oil level.

Its it has quite a few miles on the engine then it does tend to slobber a little more. Same if you top your oil to the max rather than having it only half way. In both these cases you may get oil dripping out of the air cleaner if its the type that feeds the head ports into the throttle body.

I'm using the stock cover for now. Had to zip tie the the wire that had been connected to the back of the stock intake since there is no where to plug it back in. I looked in my service manual and the wire is the intake solenoid connector which apparently serves no purpose. The backplate for the V02 even has a little area to run the zip tie through.
