Changing Top Clamp on 2003 SuperGlide - Need Suggestions
I've got a 2003 SuperGlide that has the ugly black handlebar top clamp and speedo pictured below. I want to do something polished or chromed that looks cool to replace it. The issue is the speedo is bolted on top of the clamp. It's downright ugly with a capital UGLY!
The second picture is something I've looked at, but can't come up with a reasonable way to attach the speedo. Suggestions?
The third picture is from JP Cycles - anyone have an idea on whether I can make this work? It has the light 'holes' for the turn signal/neutral indicators, but I'd still have to come up with a way to attach the speedo.
