Default Easy Bracket installation help!

I bought some saddlebags and easy brackets off of a forum member. They came off of a 2007 street bob and are going on my wife's 2007 street bob. Having trouble mounting the long bolt that bolts to the fender where the turn signals used to be. Unless i'm missing some pieces I can't figure out how they mount as the bolts seem long.

Any help would be appreciated. can't seem to find the instructions on line and the only demo video is for a softail.

The bolts replace the fender strut bolts. Remove the strut bolts, place the hardware onto the bolt and screw into place. Should be that simple. I used the easy brackets for 2 years with no problem.

The bolts may be long enough to accommodate a removable backrest. May need shorter bolts with no backrest.

Ok I'll check the length. But they don't screw in they just go right through the fender

If the bolts slip through the hole in the fender strut then its not the right size. How do they compare in size to the original strut bolts?

Take one of the stock bolts to a hardware store, find a nut that will fit it, then find a new
HARDENED bolt the length of the kit bolt that will fit the nut.. buy several.. problem cured...

Thanks guys. The bolts look to be the right size but there is nothing to thread into. The stock bolts came through the fender outwards and screwed into the turn signals.
