Fender Bolts
Greetting-
1996 Road King 1340
Random questions here: I was looking at taking off my front fender of my RoadKing and saw there is 4 bolts 2 on each side holding on the fender. When looking at the bolts I see there is a bracket between each of the bolts that wrap around the bolts that hold the fender on. So to my questions: Is there an easy way to get the bolts off or a tool that has to be used to not damage the bracket or do I have to buy a new bracket everytime I take the bolts off? or can I just bend the bracket back away from the bolts and they will bend back?

The locking tabs aren't part of the fender they are a seperate piece that acts as a washer and locking tabs. Just reach in there with a screwdriver and tap them away from the bolts. Be careful you don't slip off and scratch the fender brackets.
