I wanted to add an update. I finally got home early enough to work on the bike after work. I was installing a progressive drop in kit and speed merchant pre load adjusters.
Pulled the stock fork caps off. Removed the stock spacer and spring. Dropped in my new springs. I go to screw in the Speed Merchant adjusters and I can't get the threads to line up. I pull the spacer and try without the spring pressure. Still not lining up great. I tried both sides several times with and without the spacers to no luck. In the end I reinstalled the stock fork caps.
I plan to contact speed merchant tomorrow and see if I missed something. It should of been an easy install. I am happy with my progressive drop ins.
I ordered mine directly from Speed Merchant. Shipped the next day and showed up quickly since I'm in Cali also.
I also just got off the Phone with Brandon at Speed merchant. Great guy. Great Service. We walked through my install. Trouble shot the problem. When I get home, I'm going to give it another go.

After talking with Brandon from Speed Merchant today and follow his advice, everything installed easily. I'll give an update on how well they work after I ride the next few days..
So I rode all weekend with the SM adjusters installed. Friday to and from work. Saturday some two up riding to a bbq. Sunday rode around a bit before easter dinner. All told a bit over 100 miles. I'm happy with the purchase. I cut done the spacers pretty close but this allowed me to fine tune the front pretty close to what I want.
He suggested I cut down the spacer futher then I originally did. I also guess I didn't back out the pinch bolt enough so there was some pressure left on the tube. Once i did both it went in pretty easy.
