I've been waiting to hear a review on these too. I was gonna pull the trigger on these a while ago but had othčr mods planned too and money got tight quick. Hopefully ill be able to give them a try in a few months
Rooti, $150 bucks is worth it for me to be able to make changes to my forks without stressing whether I can get the caps back on. I'll also be tearing apart more than once. For the average rider who may only pull his bike apart once maybe it isn't worth it, but they look cool and work. Plenty of people have spent way more money replacing crap with shinier crap that doesn't do anything.
Forgot to mention, you've got to pull the caps every time you make an adjustment to the sag, maybe it take you 3 or 4 times to get it cut right. Given that with stock springs it took me 10 minutes per side to compress the spring and line up the threads, it's worth the money. You should also change your setting when riding 2 up and these allow you to.
I'm really interested to see If these make any improvements to a stock front end. If after I still think it needs more ill upgrade the front suspension and have the ability to make adjustments on the fly
Well, Just to set the record straight, the RSD product is labeled Fork Preload Adjuster (singular). It also shows on the website (Dennis Kirk, that is) that the UNIT is Pair. I ordered just ONE part number and TWO fork preload adjuster(S) showed up in one package. Unfortunately, I wasn't clear on the size and got the wrong ones. DAMMIT!!! Anyway, I just wanted to clear up the issue about them shipping just one adjuster. You actually get BOTH of them. See the pictures...
Oh, you also get catalogs AND deoderant. I guess they think us bikers are a stinky, sweaty bunch.

Thanks for clearing that up. Just didnt make a lot of sense to sell them separatly for that price even for RSD. Let us know how they work out when you get the right ones.
