Whats up with RS? I mean his stuff is nice for sure but its priced like its made out of gold. Or unobtanium or something. lol Is there something Im missing?
Just purchased a set of the RSD 49mm Adjusters..... well thought I did.
Paid the money then got the sinking feeling that they are sold as single units and I was correct.
Man what a shock to find out I had just paid $220 to get one preload adjuster sent to OZ and would be $390 for a pair.
Lucky they let me cancel.
I don't know if they made a mistake or not but $340 off the shelf for a set seems a bit much.
I better look at the Speed Merchant ones a bit more
I was going to get a set of these. I like the looks of the RSD better than Speed Merchant. They should be sold as a set. who the heck is going to buy just one. Ripoff...

I agree. Who the F*** is Roland Sands and why do I want to pay a premium to have HIS name on MY bike.
The single unit for $220 is even more ridiculous.
I haven't installed them yet, but the SM units are very good quality machine and anodize.
Don't forget the $220 is to Australia so you locals be lucky and get them cheaper............say only $170 each plus shipping...
I've sent an email to another shop that doesn't have them in stock yet hoping the price they quoted me is per pair.
Still can't believe the price or the look on my wife's face when I told her what I just paid.

I will get a set of these when my refund comes through. Should have gone on my gut instinct in the first place.

If you mean the SM ones then yes they do as that's the answer I got direct from SM.
But I've been told by two RS vendors that they also come in pairs for between $155 and $169 for the pair.
I can't understand why I was charged the same price for one by the only vendor I can find with them in stock. I double checked with them again this morning.
I'm going to wait a couple of weeks to see what happens when others get stock.
Sometimes the parts guys don't know what they are doing, I had a Harley guy charge me double for 2 exhaust gaskets( they are sold in pairs). I came in a second time because I bought the wrong type(flared vs flat) and he did it again - I had to point it out to him in the catelog.

I agree it had to be a mistake. About as dumb as selling someone 1 handgrip
