Gonna start looking for a new Fat Bob 103 next week. What should I be paying for one out the door before tax? I know the list price looking for the real price you guys are paying out the door.
I just got my new 2012 for $14300. I had a bout $2k in incentives, and had to compromise on the color, and had an extra delivery fee of $927 for delivery to Germany.
Got mine for $14500 which was the best of the 3 major dealers here in the area. One wouldn't come off of list price and one put a bunch of add-on parts then charged almost $2k extra for those parts.
Like I said I can't start lookin till next week. I am hoping someone local will be reasonable. I was talkin to a guy from Harley at Daytona and he told me I should be able to get one excluding tax for the list. Sounds like you guys are getting them for out the door list or a little better.
I am willing to travel a reasonable distance. Fuel ain't cheap so it can raise the price pretty fast. Talked to a dealer at Daytona and he wanted over a thousand over list without tax. You know all the dealer crap they add on. That ain't happenin.

Here is a quote I got last year (2012). My dealers want list but they will negotiate on prep, doc fees, freight, etc
$15,499 Fat Bob
$335 Freight
$250 Prep
$95 Title
$25 Lic Transfer
$125 Doc fee
Hey lookin at a YouTube on a Fat Bob this afternoon. When did Harley put a tack in the speedo? Looked like the upper half was a speedometer and the bottom half was a tac.
Also is there a real difference between the 96 and 104CI engine? Are the both about as smooth and settle down at about 2400 or so?
Last Oct I bought a '13 Fat Bob. Now it has the V&H curved pipes w scalloped ends with the Scream'n Eagle air intake. It has a dealer done job of $3000 to chrome out the front end and left trans cover...includes chrome 6" risers and all chrome controls/switches. Has a sissy bar and luggage rack...all chrome.
Now I want to buy a Road King and they want my bike plus $15,000. I have cost of list plus the pipes/intake/chrome or another $5,500 in this bike.
Yeah that was what I was hoping to get but Idono. Went to the shop today and they wanted about 700 bucks in dealer fees. He said there was a little room to talk but we will see. If I could get it for about 16 out the door I think that would be a great deal.
