06 SG Neutral light staying on...UPDATE
Went to the dealer today about my neutral light staying on and got the scoop from them. First my bike is not part of the recall but any problem would be fixed n/c under warranty. Good news. Also the dealer felt it was a minor issue, probably a defective switch. Said if I wanted to check it myself all I needed to do was remove the switch ( it is a 7/8" hex head just above and behind the "six speed" plate on the tranny. In front of the starter, has two electrical connectors on it) being careful not to lose the sealing ring, put an ohm meter on the connections and manualy operate the switch. The switch is kind of backwards. The switch turns the light OFF, if it fails the light stays on. I will give it a go on the weekend and see what happens.
