Has anyone watched the National Geographic show on ultimate factories? The plant they show is the Kansas Plant, V-Rod & CVO built bikes. Second time I've watched it. Pretty impressive if you have never seen the show before.
I toured the plant last summer. They spend more time showing the dyna and sportster lines than the V-Rod section. It was a blast. I went to York in Fall. I really want to go to Wisconsin now.
Yes...matter of fact, I taped it. Of course, it was the one night my power went off 3 times in a half hour....for like a second or two each time...so I had to keep hitting record. Probably missed taping a minute or two.
I actually really like the v-rods. I prefer traditional harleys more (obviously)...but there's something really cool about those bikes. If I had a few extra bucks right now, that would be on the top of a short list.
Good show...I enjoyed it. I was really jealous of the guy that gets to test ride the bikes

The guy who test rides the bikes at the end is a member of vrodforums.com. He's a real good guy to deal with too, ive bought some used parts off of him...I want a vrod to go with my Dyna
Mud, this was the second time I viewed the program. The series is titled "Ultimate Factories". There's on on the 599GB Ferrari, and a variety of other plants that are building some really cool stuff. Check your listings, I'm on Time Warner Cable, so I am not sure about the other cable carriers or the satellite groups.
Last night on TLC, OCC was doing some new builds. They had just bought a 5-axis Flow-Jet and were starting to make some really slick looking parts. Best part to me was the "Black Widow" bike Paul Jr. had built, stuff starting falling off it and they were looking for ty-wraps to hold the crap on with. Guess I am just not into "Theme" bikes.
