Does anyone have any advice on a seat for a 2013 Wide Glide. I thought about the Badlander. Has anyone got one of these on their bikes and are they good for a long journeys?
Sick saddle is what I got for my 2012 wide glide, great price great seat. Sicksaddle.com, one man show so you deal just with him, you can talk to him on the phone ( real cool guy) it takes about 3 weeks to get but worth the wait (he does every thing by hand himself)
The Badlander is one of the best-looking two-ups for the Dyna. However, your *** pays the price for that look. This seat is woefully inadequate at 150 miles and just plain sucks beyond that. At 150 miles your focus shifts from the ride to how bad you hate this f*ckin' seat.
It looks killer and is great for short, around-town jaunts, although there are places that can add gel to the Badlander and custom fit your a** to the seat. Bring money though.
Sorted, just bought a Mustang one piece studded. Should be with me in 4- 5 days. Hopefully in time for the memorial ride out to Hunstanton I'm going on next Sunday.
I almost bought a Badlander seat, til the parts guy says that the Super Glide seat will fit. Tried it on, and it felt like it would do what I needed. Just about $200, and the 2 rides I've taken since indicate it was a good choice. Not fully tested to say beyond a doubt, but not bad.
