I looked around a bit, it 'might' fit back there but, the looks of it dont bother me much, but again I'm not 100% sold on that spot its just really easy to put it there. But hell yeah its loud, I'm kinda of an a$$hole with it, scaring little kids and such...

See the problem I had with this style, is they all sound like high pitched euro cars/scooters. To me I can't even stand the way it sounds, despite its loudness. Hence why I went with something a bit more boomy.

Talking Had good luck with the Mini-Beast tho not cheap

I disliked the HD stock horn so much that after it failed once in three tries, I replaced it about 2 years ago (right after I bought the bike) with the ProPad Mini-Beast 4 airhorn. Easy install: comes with a power wire with fuse holder that you route from stock location to battery, then install horn (fully self-contained in its own enclosure) at the stock location using the stock (command) wires. Took maybe 15 minutes. Good support, too: fuse holder had a slight crack in it when I opened the package, and when I called, they shipped me free of charge a replacement of the entire holder, fuse & wire which I got the next day. And I didn't have to return the bad one (but I did: I'm funny that way.)

It is LOUD. Manufacturer quotes 128 db but it is as loud as most big rig trucks. I could give a number of stories where I really got cagers to snap to attention when I needed it, although if you rely on it thinking it will get you out of a real jam, using a horn may be too late! The ProPad quotes $190 for the Mini-Beast 4 in black, +$15 for chrome. Pricey.

Comes in black or chrome. I chose the "96-type" chrome cover since I'm a nut for balanced things (the stock 103 air cleaner cover bugs me but I haven't found another I really like yet either.) I got it for $140 on eBay, but prices now range up to $160 or $170, but keep an eye out and you'll find a price near what I bought it for. Good luck!

(One story that has to be told: coming back from Muskegon Bike Time on I-96 last year, I came upon a commercial passenger bus rolling down the highway with one of his luggage doors flapping in the wind...and encroaching in my lane as I began to pass. We were both going 70, I waved at him as I pulled alongside. He didn't see me. I unleashed the Mini-Beast: he immediately looked, I waved my arm like the flapping door, he looked back and immediately waved "Thanks", and pulled over. Score one for the Mini-Beast!)

Since you like the stock Harley horn cover, you might try this method:

That Fiamm Highway Blaster is what it switched to.
I picked it up at Advance Auto & the install was easy.
TheGrandPoohBah is right on; the sound is “About the same but a lot louder “ than stock.

WTG, DesertDyna! Thanks for the link! This is exactly what I am looking for, a loud horn that will fit under the cowbell! I spent hours searching this forum using the forum search and google and I did not find this one.

Horn is on order and I will let ya'll know when I get it in and installed.
