That's hilarious about the little nut. Same thing happened to me Saturday when I put the new Silverstar bulb in.

That spring clip thing took some head scratching to get back in place.

Of course it has a high beam. I jsut got mine installed as I had to replace the sealed beam with a non sealed beam housing and I got the silverstar h4st in. I have not gone for a ride yet, but it seems bright in the carport. Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow night...

Since I was going to have it apart to change the bulb, I decided to add the thicker chrome trim ring. I really like it. I saw it someones bike on here and would like to thank them for the idea. Before and after pics below.
