Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
Street Bob cost about $20/lb, Ultra costs about $27/lb
Street Bob cargo capacity as delivered: 0 cu ft
Ultra cargo capacity as delivered: 4.5 cu ft
Weight of Switchback is about the same as origional FLH...
"baggers" (ie factory FLH models) have higher GVW's I believe
Just another one of those terms to differentiate your spending from someone elses...ie: someone I know gets pissed when I refer to their Lexus as a Toyota
I would call the FLH's plusher; especially 2-up but at the expense of the nimble qualities I enjoy when motorcycling. Glad my wife rides her own Dyna, too.....
Technical differences (and similarities) aside, it comes down to what they are designed for.
In comparison to four wheeled vehicles:
Touring bikes are like full size SUV's. Like SUV's, they can be bought in several versions ranging from your basic Ford Explorer or Chevy Tahoe (RK), to your pimped out Escalade or Navigator (UltraGlide.)
Dyna's are more like your mid or large sedans and can range from somewhat sporty models to well equipped LE models.
Both can do what the other is good at, but both have limitations when entering the other's territory. IE, Dyna's don't carry as much weight and passenger accommodations aren't as plush.
Baggers don't perform like Dyna's. iE, power/weight, handling, etc.
People can argue that they tour on a Dyna or commute on a bagger, but they are different.
Both can be modded to reach deeper into the other's territory.

My buddy was telling me how ugly his wife was, I didn't believe she could be that bad, so I said prove it to me. He invites me over and hollers down into the basement, " Honey, come on up here!" She replies, " Should I put the bag over my head? " He say's, "No, I don't want to F@%k you, I just want to show you off!"
Now that my friends, is a BAGGER!!!!!!
Why in the **** do you feel the need to single me out? THAT pisses me off, not someone saying a Dyna isn't a bagger. I could give two ***** what you call it but in the end it is a bunch of BS. If you want to spend the extra for a damn garbage wagon then more power to you, but it doesn't make some super secret formula for being able to go long distance or carry something with you. It's still two wheels, the same damn motor and tranny, handlebars, and a seat.
I don't care WHAT pisses you off. Why are you and several other people being so defensive about their dynas here? Nobody's said anything negative about them of anything that I saw that needed to be defended. They're just a different family of bikes. One was build and designed for optimal touring and one was designed for something else, but as stated earlier, most people can tour with any of the family of bikes that Harley's offer, some just need modifications to make it practical.

And I don't think I got my damn panties in a wad over anything either besides your *** singling me out like that in your damn post. If someone wants to wrap their bike in wonder bread bags and call it a damn sandwich then who care?
The difference between a dyna and a bagger is, a dyna is cool to ride, nice to look at and usually has a hot *** girl on the back. a bagger is like buying your last home in a retirement community. yea, its comfy, but you know its the end of the road.
